One of the most significant is a shortage of trained mental health professionals in communities across the country.
We’re committed to helping break down these barriers and bringing people the care they need when they need it. We’ve made it easier for members to get the help they need through a new telehealth offering that gets them on track toward personalized, long-term support. This new Behavioral Health Care Navigation service is available through the Member Connect portal, with specialized IBX Behavioral Health Customer Care Advocates and licensed Behavioral Health professionals who work together to identify members’ risk needs and provide in-the-moment support, directly connecting them to care — oftentimes through warm transfer or direct scheduling — in as few steps as possible.
