The Dominatrix of Comedy is a show that combines a musical comedy show with a bit of swinging lifestyle. It’s also a comedic look into the world of dominatrixes, with some very funny sexual experiences.
The show stars Jessica Nicole Smith, a real life dominatrix living in Montreal. She gets through the first three episodes without too much drama before the climax of the story involving sexual assault. There’s also a lot of humor in the show, as she is able to hide her BDSM from her family. In addition to the musical comedy shows, she offers private hypnosis sessions for individuals.
Rightor Doyle’s ‘Bonding’ is a fictionalized take on his experiences as an assistant to a dominatrix. In fact, it’s one of the few shows that actually takes a close look at the BDSM community.
“Bonding” is a seven episode series that began on Netflix in April of 2019. Unlike the previous “Sex Education” that scored big on Netflix in the bawdy teen comedy genre, “Bonding” isn’t quite as twee. Though it is written from the perspective of a fictional character, the Twitter account for the show is a surprisingly accurate depiction of how real dominatrixes interact with their clients. This is because “Bonding” is based on a true story, albeit a fictional version.
A fictional version of Pete Devin is enlisted as an assistant by a female dominatrix. He reluctantly accepts the offer, but soon finds himself juggling two jobs: his first is as a bodyguard for the woman who hired him and his second is as a stand up comedian. His new gig creeps into his social life, and he struggles to make ends meet. However, he finds a way to make a few bucks.
The ‘Bonding’ show is a well-written, sex-centric show that’s not afraid to laugh at itself. Although the storyline is a little predictable, there are a number of interesting anecdotes, and the show is a good example of how to tell a compelling and engaging story in less than 20 minutes. The best thing about it is that you get a glimpse into the world of BDSM in a way that’s entertaining and fun.
One of the newest additions to the show is a XXX-rated Erotic Hypnosis Comedy Show. This is not to be confused with a hypnosis session that’s offered to people by the dominatrix herself.
The show is also notable for having the longest episode – 18 minutes – of any of the shows on Netflix, which is impressive considering it’s not a long series. Other noteworthy features include the ‘Pay Pig’, which is the name given to the men who send money and gifts to dominatrixes online. Another one of the show’s cleverer aspects is its use of a’moonlighter’.
On a personal note, I’m a big fan of the Dominatrix of Comedy. I think the show is a refreshing change of pace from the drab TV shows that often portray the BDSM community as being a dirty place. That said, I was not a fan of the marketing scheme that the company implemented to promote it.
